Sharing Economy: Nice, But Does It Create Real Jobs?

Some believe the sharing economy is not necessarily a source of economic growth and social progress, citing Harvard Law School professor Yochai Benkler’s remarks at a World Economic Forum conference in which he claimed that the collaborative economy lets businesses circumvent their social obligations by transferring all of the risks – such as legal actions – onto outside agents (ed note: the people who work for them).
